ELEGOO Mars Mate Air Purifier

 

 

The ELEGOO Mars Mate Air Purifier is a large external filtration unit specifically engineered for resin 3D printing. 

 

 

 

 

It connects directly to the printer via a flexible hose, extracting air from inside the build chamber to capture volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and strong resin odors at the source before they disperse into the workspace.

Unlike small USB purifiers placed under the hood, the Marsmate connects directly to your compatible printer via a flexible hose. High-Density TVOC Filtration (95% Efficiency)

 


The core of the Marsmate is its oversized CTC100 columnar activated carbon filter. Featuring a composite black dense mesh on both sides, this high-capacity cartridge is capable of absorbing up to 95% of Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs), including pungent resin odors and formaldehyde. This ensures that the air exhausted into your workshop is thoroughly scrubbed of airborne irritants.

 

 

 

 

 

Smart features: VOC sensor and filter reminder

The touch control panel includes a built-in VOC sensor that analyzes air quality in real time. The AQI light ring informs you:

 

 

                                                         

                                                     

 

Green: Excellent quality (<0.7 ppm)

 

Yellow: Moderate quality (0.7–1.4 ppm)

Auto mode alternates 10 minutes at high speed and 50 minutes at low speed every hour, optimizing purification and quiet operation. A dedicated button resets the counter after filter replacement (long press 3 seconds).

 

 

 

 

Ultra-quiet and economical

 

With a noise level measured at 35 dB – equivalent to a quiet library – the Marsmate operates without disrupting your workspace. Its power consumption is limited to 6W (12V 0.6A power supply), allowing it to run 24/7 with negligible impact on your electricity bill.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Controls and Operating Modes

 

 

 

The intuitive touch control panel includes four buttons:

 

On/Off (short press to turn on, long press 3 seconds to turn off)


Fan speed (toggle between low and high; indicated by one or two lights)


Auto mode: Intelligent hourly cycle with 10 minutes at high speed and 50 minutes at low speed


Filter reset (long press 3 seconds after installing a new filter)

 

 

 

 

 

Installation and Compatibility

The package includes everything needed for direct connection: connector hose, adapter, connector seat, 4 screws, 4 nuts, Allen wrench, and open-end wrench. Installation involves removing the rear exhaust panel on the printer (typically held by 4 screws) and attaching the provided seat and hose for an airtight seal.


It is compatible with ELEGOO resin printers featuring an extension port, including the Mars 4 DLP, Mars 4 MAX, Mars 5 series, Saturn 2, Saturn 3 / 3 Ultra, Saturn 4 series, Saturn 8K, Jupiter, and Jupiter SE. It can also be adapted for use with many other resin printers or positioned nearby without direct connection.

 

 

 

Maintenance Tips

 

 

 

 

 


Remove the protective plastic bag from the new filter before first use. Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth.

 

Vacuum the filter surface monthly (do not wash with water).

 

After replacing the filter, reset the counter using the dedicated button.

 

 

 

 

The Mars Mate delivers effective odor and VOC reduction while operating quietly and with minimal energy use, helping maintain a more comfortable and cleaner printing environment for regular resin users.
