Buy flexible filament

3D flexible filament is a type of material used in 3D printing that is more flexible and stretchable than traditional 3D printing filament. They are usually made of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) or thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) and can be bent, stretched and compressed without breaking.

Unlike rigid filaments such as ABS and PLA, flexible filaments can create parts with a softer, rubber-like feel, making them suitable for a variety of applications such as toys, phone cases, wearable accessories and medical devices. They are also popular in the manufacture of seals, gaskets and other components that require flexibility to function properly.

Flexible 3D filament is available in a variety of colours and is usually sold in spools of different lengths and diameters, the most common being 1.75mm or 2.85mm. A dedicated 3D printer with a direct drive extruder or Bowden extruder is required. It can handle the unique properties of flexible filaments, which make them difficult to print as they tend to stretch and bend during the process.

TPE, TPU or PBAT filaments that Machines-3D propose at its E-shop offer a unique set of properties that make it ideal for making parts that require flexibility and durability. Printing requires special care and attention, but the end result can be very rewarding, especially for those looking to create custom, functional parts.
