Description

Flashforge PLA Silk filament is a high performance PLA material with great strength and toughness. It allows parts to be printed with a smooth, silky surface that reflects light. It also has low shrinkage, which effectively reduces warping and cracking problems. Full mechanical winding and strict manual review have been repeated many times to ensure the filament is tidy and less tangled. Larger inner diameter spool design makes feeding smoother.

Compatible with

*Only the 500g spool can be installed in the Adventurer 3 due to the compact size of the machine.

Recommandation

  • The recommended extrusion temperature for Flashforge PLA filament is between 190°C and 220°C with a print speed of 40-60mm/s.

  • If your 3D printer has a heated bed, set the temperature to around 25°C to 60°C. A heated bed is not necessary for PLA prints, but it can be beneficial.

  • If your 3D printer has a fan, turn it on while printing.

  • Make sure the first layer of material has sufficient adhesion. A thin layer of glue from a water washable glue stick or a layer of masking tape will increase adhesion.
