Graphy Certification Training: Machines 3D Empowers Practitioners in Digital Dentistry and 3D Printing
Machines 3D is recognized as a leading expert in dental additive manufacturing. Beyond providing dental 3D printers, scanners, resins, and specialized software, the company offers customized training programs for dental professionals. This integrated approach enables practitioners to adopt high-performance digital solutions tailored to clinical needs.
On December 11th and 12th, Machines 3D hosted a new Graphy certification training session for dental professionals, focusing on incorporating the complete aligner manufacturing workflow into clinical practice. Participants learned to combine digital scanning, 3D modeling, and resin 3D printing, enhancing their skills in modern dental techniques.
Training Focused on Digital Workflows and Orthodontic Aligners
The Graphy training was designed to meet the practical needs of dental practitioners. From the beginning, participants explored digital dental workflows applied to aligner treatments. The course covered clinical fundamentals, workflow logic, and data management to establish a solid foundation for precise and efficient digital practice.
This professional training ensures that practitioners gain autonomy in managing digital orthodontic treatments, improving reliability, precision, and efficiency in their daily work.
The training’s core involved creating Onyxceph setups and designing aligners using DAD software, including file preparation via intraoral scanning and resin 3D printing. Guided by Dr. Akim Benattia, a specialist in dentofacial orthopedics, participants combined theory and practice using real clinical cases. From importing digital files to designing patient-specific aligners, practitioners became proficient in advanced software features and were able to quickly integrate these techniques into their clinical workflow.
The two-day format provided personalized guidance, allowing a progressive and sustainable skill development.
After preparing the files, participants printed aligner models in the Machines 3D resin laboratory. Using professional tools such as Tera Harz TA-28 biofriendly resin from Graphy, practitioners learned manufacturing techniques, quality standards, and best practices.
This stage ensures continuity across the workflow, guaranteeing reproducible quality in practitioners’ own clinics. It reduces patient waiting times, enhances laboratory and practice organization, and maintains high-quality standards for printed aligners.
Collaboration and Exchange Between Practitioners
This training brought together dental professionals from various regions of France and Belgium. The diversity of participants fostered rich discussions, sharing of clinical experiences, and insights into the challenges of digital dentistry.
These interactions strengthened group dynamics and provided practitioners with complementary perspectives on the evolution of modern orthodontics and digital dental workflows.
For dental professionals wishing to train and obtain certification in aligner fabrication, a few places remain for a session scheduled for March 19th and 20th in Paris (12th arrondissement).
