Liqcreate Resin Strong-X 1kg

Liqcreate Strong-X is one of the strongest materials available on the market. Its flexural strength of 135 MPa is comparable to that of the industry's leading dual-cure cyanate ester resins. Liqcreate Strong-X is easy to use on all open source SLA and DLP 3D printers in the 385-405nm range and requires only UV post-treatment. The material has excellent properties such as high strength, rigidity and high temperature resistance, making it ideal for injection moulding and heavy duty applications.

Liqcreate Srong - X for injection moulding
Liqcreate Strong-X is the ideal material for low volume injection moulding. The compatibility of a wide range of thermoplastic polymers with moulds made from Liqcreate Strong-X was tested. The study focused on the temperature resistance of the 3D printed moulds and the adhesion of the thermoplastic polymer to the mould.The polymers tested are listed in the table below and include PP, PE, HDPE, ABS, PETG, PA6 and PA12 copolymer, injected at temperatures between 230 and 280°C (446 - 536°F). All materials were injected without any release agents.
Thermal degradation of the 3D printed mould was not observed in any of the tests. Polymers such as ABS, PA6 and PA12 adhere to the mould, while other polymers such as PP, PE, HDPE and PETG release easily from the mould and are compatible with Strong-X 3D printed moulds. The test results were obtained using two Strong-X 3D moulds, and therefore a mirror plate is not used. Over 100 injections have been successfully performed with HDPE, PE and PP.
